Sphinx connections across cultures

Sphinxes present in many cultures. Chidambaram temple in India has a similar sphinx. Greek mythology also has it.

Common cultural connection between Egyptian Osiris and Indian Shiva

Two deities Osiris and Shiva from different times and different continents intimately linked together by their identity with the same constellation of stars, now known as Orion.

Purusha Mukha (human face), or Purusha Mriga (man wild beast) purify those devotees that look at them, upon entering, by removing their sins. In ancient Egypt, the sphinx was a spiritual guardian.

From Egypt, the sphinx imported to both Asia and Greece around 15th to 16th century B.C. Egypt sphinx was constructed in 26th century B.C.  

Shiva activities are creation, Preservation, Destruction, Illusion and Salvation, in the temple of Chidambaram in south India. Osiris, ancient Egypt’s god of rebirth and fertility.

Dionysus is the Greek religion and myths counterpart of Indian Shiva and Egyptian Osiris. Dionysus is the god of the grape-harvest, winemaking, orchards and fruit, vegetation, fertility, insanity, ritual madness, religious ecstasy, festivity and theatre.

Ancient Egypt, Judaism, Christianity and Islam lives in Hindu culture (Abraham files)

There are many similarities among many cultures. It is better appreciate the similarities than finding the differences.

Abraham (Consort Sara or Sarai, wife & half-sister) in Christianity <=> Brahma (Consort Sara-iswati, Saraswati) in Hinduism, <=> Ibrahim (Islam)

Abraham is the patriarch/father of Jews,Christians and Muslims <=>  Brahma is the creator in Hinduism

Abraham's son Isaac (through wife Sara) - Christians consider themselves of descendants of Issac. 

Abraham son Ismail (throw slave wife Hagar) - Muslims consider themselves of descendants of Ishmael.

In India, a tributary of the river Saraisvati is Ghaggar (Hagar). Perhaps Abraham could have driven out to west by Asuras in the east. In bible, Abram (later called Abraham) moves to ancient Egypt in order to evade a famine. Abraham might have descended from some of the numerous Brahman priests who left India to spread their teachings throughout the world

Jews <=> Kalani, an Indian tribe or sect

Jewish festival Purim <=> Holi celebrated on the same day.

Jewish calendar <=> coincides with Durga puja in the Hindu calendar. Many rituals same.

(Hebrew) Ishaak <=> (Sanskrit) Ishakhu = “Friend of Shiva.” 

(Hebrew) Ishmael = (Sanskrit) Ish-Mahal = “Great Shiva.”

Noah (Christianity, Flood story, great flood in the epic of Gilgamesh of Sumerians, Nuh in Islam) <=> Manu (First Avatar, Flood story, Matsya-avatar(Matsya Puranas).

Murungu god(25 tribes worship this god resides in sacred mountains) <=> Murugan (Dravidian God of Mountains, in southern India). The Ethiopian Kebra Negas regarded Western India as a portion of the Ethiopian Empire.

Rameses EE, the most famous Pharaoh of Egypt <=> Rama, in Ramayana (?). Perhaps a Egyptian origin.

Dushratta, King of Mitanm m Syria <=> Dasa-ratha of Ramayana

Enemies of Ram-Ses(Ancient Egypt) were depicted with multiple heads and arms and were referred as Labarna <=> Ravana with multiple heads in Ramayana.

Egyptian Paraa or "Pharaoh <=> The Indian Prabhu (Sanskrit "ruler, master, lord")

Assur was the father of the Assyrians, "the great god, king of all the gods." <=> Asuras in Hindusim. Powerful superhuman demigods or demons with good or bad qualities. The good Asuras are called Adityas(Sun Gods).

The leaders were called Khassis (Kassites), Kushi (Kushites), Cossacks (Russian military caste) Caesars (Roman ruling caste), Hattiya (Hittites), Cuthites (a dialectical form of Hittite), Hurrite (another dialectical form of Hittite), Cathay (Chinese leaders), Kasheetl/Kashikeh among the Aztecs, Kashikhel/Kisheh by the Mayans, and Keshuah/Kush by the Incas. The Assyrians (in English), Asirios (in Spanish), Asuras or Ashuras (India), Ashuriya, Asuriya (Sumer and Babylonia), Asir (Arabia), Ahura (Persia), Suré in Central Mexico, etc., were people who worshipped Surya (the Sun).
